SSEAYP (The Ship for South East Asian Youth Program) visit STHC for exchange activities

The itinerary of SSEAYP in 2018 covered countries of Japan, Brunei, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The goal of this program is to consolidate friendship between Japan’s youth and the youth from ASEAN countries. Among SSEAYP 2018 participants 28 came from Vietnam.

As part of exchange activities SSEAYP participants joined folk dances, showmanship performance and souvenir exchange with STHC students besides taking part in Vietnamese cooking class.

US Poultry workshop

The workshop – sponsored by US Poultry & Egg Export Council – took place on December 12, 2018 at STHC campus with Chef Norbert Ehrbar as key speaker. Workshop participants were provided with knowledge on US poultry as well as guidance on how to prepare 4 dishes with US poultry as main ingredients.

Bartender Championship 2018 launched

This is the 3rd contest which is held annually at STHC with the purpose of arousing passion for bartending and flair. Bartender Championship 2018 attracted 41 contestants for two categories: Mocktail and Flair bartending contests. The contests were organized in elimination and final rounds.

Career Day 2018

STHC holds this activity yearly to provide further job and career orientation to its students through contact with representatives from tourism and hospitality industry. 2018 Career Day at STHC saw the presence of representatives from 15 businesses who came to select appropriate candidates.

2018 Charity Shopping Fair

The event attracted many students, teachers and staff of STHC to various activities at the fair on the campus such as sales, auction (items/souvenirs donated by teachers and staff were up for auction). All profits would be sent to the charity fund that would be used to support charity activities on Tet Lunar New Year 2019.
