The First Korean Cooking Contest

This first Korean contest was jointly organized at STHC campus on August 2, 2018 by Korean General Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam – Korea Times. The purpose of the event was to help diversify activities of cultural exchange and to make Korean cuisine known to the Vietnamese. The first prize worth 10,000,000 dong was awarded to Ms Ho Thi Muoi Mot with her dish of chapchae (a Korean mixed glass noodle)

Saigontourist Staff Event 2018

This year the event was held in two days of Aug 2 and 3, and attracted about 1,000 staff from 27 affiliates of Saigontourist Holding Company. The team from STHC took part in the event with 5 performances.

Commercial Cookery Cert III’s material transfer ceremony

At the ceremony JR Training from Australia transferred materials of training for commercial cookery Certificate III to STHC. The transfer of training material will facilitate the opportunity for STHC students to join paid internship programs in Australia

Vocational orientation at STHC for students in difficulties from Nha Be district of Ho Chi Minh City

Aug 18, 2018 STHC welcomed 40 teenager members of Ho Chi Minh Pioneer Unit who were children from families in difficulties in Nha Be district. The teenager members were provided with information about training in tourism and hospitality through a campus tour.

Second intake for 2018 at STHC

The intake – with the enrolment of 2.000 prospective students – took place in two days of 30 and 31 August 2018 and in the context of Vietnam tourism’s development with 2017’s significant achievement as mentioned in the welcome notes of Ms Luong Thanh Thao, Vice Rector.
