EXCELLENCE TITLE FOR TRINH VU AT THE 44TH WORLDSKILLS COMPETITION
At the 44th WorldSkills Competition in Abu Dhabi of United Arab Emirate Trinh Vu, second year cookery student of STHC, was ranked 9th and granted a certificate of excellence in the cookery competition with candidates from 42 countries; Before joining the WorldSkills Competion Trinh was silver medalist in 2006 ASEAN Skills Competition.
FRESHMEN STUDENTS MEET UP WITH FACULTY MEMBERS
The period between 16th October and 10th November 2017 is dedicated to orientation activities for freshmen at STHC. As part of this program, freshmen students of the 4 majors, i.e Tour guiding, Hotel management, Restaurant management and Cookery, met up with their respective faculty members.
ENCOUNTER WITH SUCCESSFUL FIGURES IN HOSPITALITY
As one among several activities in the orientation program, “Enlighten Your Dreams” was held to connect freshmen students with successful figures in hospitality and tourism. This encounter is to give new students inspiration and passion for their future career.
YOUTH UNION’S IDEALS SHARED
Over the period from 16th to 20th October 2017 STHC Youth Union made its introduction to freshmen students in the “Move Forward under the Youth Union Flag” campaign. This activity is to acquaintance new students with STHC environment of active learning and to attract students to the noble ideals of Youth Union.
