COLLABORATION BETWEEN STHC AND ICAE TO START

The signing of Memorandum of Understanding between STHC and ICAE (International College of Advanced Education) took place at the same time with the opening of ICAE’s Rep office at the campus of STHC. The events kicked off a comprehensive collaboration with ICAE – a reputable Darwin-based vocational provider in hospitality and food services – to provide potential opportunities for students from STHC to study, work and develop their career in Australia.

Workshop on California raisins in use in bakery & pastry

The workshop – co-organized by STHC and California (US) Raisin Association at STHC campus on November 13 – provided an opportunity for getting knowledge about California raisins through meeting and cooking with professionals. After the introduction of four pastry recipes by Chef Tran Thi Trang, the students enthusiastically practiced making cakes with California raisins as key ingredients.

WORKSHOP ON US POTATOES

On November 16, the Council for US Potatoes, in conjunction with STHC, organized a workshop on US potatoes at the latter’s campus. The presentation on US potatoes was followed by a demo and practical session for participants under the guidance of Chef Norbert Ehrbar, Culinary consultant for US Potatoes Council.

2018 TALENT CONTEST AT STHC

The contest attracted the participation of a large number of students at STHC. Out of 40 items registered for the contest, 11 were selected to go to the final round that took place at outdoor stage in the campus at the celebration of 2018 Teachers’ Day.

TEACHERS’ DAY AT STHC CELEBRATED

The celebration was solemnly held on November 20. Bouquets of fresh flowers from representatives of Saigontourist Holding Company, Youth Union and Students Association were offered as token of appreciation for all teaching staff.
