The Asian Culinary Techniques Program at Saigontourist School is designed for individuals who are passionate about Asian cuisine and wish to pursue a professional career in food preparation.

Provides basic knowledge of kitchen organization, food preparation procedures, food hygiene and safety, and teamwork skills in a professional kitchen environment.

🥗 Module 02 – Nutrition Knowledge

Covers fundamental nutrition concepts, major nutrient groups, dietary needs by target groups, and principles of building balanced and healthy menus.

🔪 Module 03 – Knife Skills & Wok Techniques

Trains learners in proper cutting and slicing techniques with correct sizes and presentation standards; practice wok tossing techniques for stir-fry and pan-fried dishes.

🌸 Module 04 – Vegetable & Fruit Carving

Learn basic carving techniques to decorate dishes, including flower and leaf designs, enhancing visual appeal and presentation.

🍜 Module 05 – Asian Cuisine Preparation 1

Hands-on practice with signature dishes from Vietnam, China, and Korea, applying cooking methods such as boiling, steaming, braising, stir-frying, and deep-frying.

🍣 Module 06 – Asian Cuisine Preparation 2

Advanced practice with dishes from Japan, Thailand, and other Asian countries, focusing on higher technical skills and refined presentation.

Guidance on building professional recipes, including ingredient measurements, cost calculation, portion control, quality management, and standardized cooking procedures.
