On the afternoon of May 29, 2025, the atmosphere at Saigontourist College of Tourism and Hospitality (STHC) became more exciting than ever with the final round of the 2025 American Chicken Cooking Workshop & Competition - an event dedicated to the school's excellent students majoring in Culinary Arts and Baking Arts .
The program opened with a seminar led by Chef Tran Ho Nhut Linh - Champion of Iron Chef 2012. With extensive experience, Chef Linh brought extremely valuable shares about choosing, preparing and processing American chicken to fully preserve its characteristic flavor.
Not just stopping at theory, the demonstration of 3 unique and creative dishes includes:
American chicken rolled with Hue rice paper
American chicken rolled with sticky rice and mushrooms
Grilled American Chicken with Vietnamese Teriyaki Sauce and Tropical Fruit Salad
...made the whole audience excited and amazed. The dishes were not only attractive in taste but also inspired the students before the competition.
Immediately after the workshop, the 12 best teams entered the final round with the challenge of preparing creative dishes from the main ingredient of American chicken , within a time limit of 60 minutes .
Under the strict evaluation of the jury, which are leading culinary experts, the competing teams demonstrated outstanding talent, courage and creativity.
After a period of exciting competition, the final results named the talented young chefs:
