On the afternoon of December 30, Saigontourist Hospitality College held the Graduation Ceremony of the Hotel Management Program for the successor management team of Saigontourist Group, marking the conclusion of a meaningful learning journey and a new step forward in the trainees’ careers.
Throughout the program, trainees studied directly at Saigontourist Hospitality College with a systematic and in-depth curriculum, focusing on developing management competencies and leadership thinking in the Food & Beverage – Hotel industry. The program equipped trainees with knowledge in leadership skills, human resource management, professional English communication, operational procedures of guest-facing departments such as restaurant, front office, housekeeping, and kitchen, along with content on operations management, finance, revenue management, and advanced marketing strategies.
In addition to theoretical learning, trainees also participated in field visits and practical training at several reputable hotels in Ho Chi Minh City, aligned with their respective departmental management specializations, including Kim Do, New World, Majestic, De Nhat, Continental and Ben Thanh hotels. Through these practical sessions, trainees gained insights into organizational structures, operational processes, equipment, service standards, and management models in hotel establishments.
A highlight of the program was the study tour of hotel management models in Ha Long, featuring units within the Saigontourist system and international partners such as Sai Gon Ha Long Hotel, Radisson Blu Hotel Ha Long, and Citadines Marina Ha Long in Quang Ninh. Here, trainees received direct experience sharing from hotel management boards on business management, operations, and departmental leadership, thereby enhancing their practical perspectives and ability to apply knowledge in their work.
