On 22/10/2026, Saigontourist Hospitality College, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Center for Worker Consultation and Support, organized a program to disseminate and promote labor law for final-year students, helping them gain essential knowledge before officially entering the working environment.
At the program, Ms. Hap Thi Thanh and Ms. Pham Ngoc Lan from the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Center for Worker Consultation and Support directly shared information, provided consultation, and answered practical questions about labor law that are closely relevant to young workers.
During the program, students learned about important provisions of the Labor Code, types of labor contracts, working hours, wages, bonuses, social insurance, taxes, and workplace regulations. In addition, they received advice on issues to consider when researching employers, information security, identifying potential legal risks during employment, and other related matters.
The atmosphere became even livelier with students’ active interaction through questions and real-life situations, helping them better understand their rights and obligations when participating in the labor market.
