Length of study: 4 months

The Certificate III in Culinary Arts is taught bilingually in English and Vietnamese at Saigontourist Hospitality College. It integrates theoretical (30%) and practical (70%) modules of Western Culinary. STHC is authorized by its Australian partners to organize the skills tests and give certification. While, the transferring and supervising partner of the program is JR Training Australasia, with Culinary Solutions Australia International – CSAI. CSAI being a Registered Training Organisation (RTO No. 21322) and a leading provider of fully accredited RPL and skill assessment services to the hospitality industry in Australia and across the Asia-Pacific region. Admission requirements:

(1) For Certificate III in Culinary Arts course (to get Blue Certificate):

  • High-school graduate or equivalent. At least 18 years old or older up to the date of application.

(2) For those who have had experience in working – register for skills tests & to be certified (STHC also organize Preparation courses for Certificate III in Culinary Arts):

  • Continuous full-time working experience in the culinary industry at an international 4-5 star hotel / restaurant for at least 12 months in the last 2 years.
  • Ability to communicate in English in professional practice.

Job opportunities

  • Become a qualified chef (commis chef, cook, and assistant cook) in a dynamic working environment of the domestic and international hotel and restaurant in Vietnam or oversea.
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is also necessary condition to participate in the working while studying Culinary Program in Australia, subclass 407.
