On the evening of November 23rd, students from the Executive Chef class along with teachers from Saigontourist Hospitality College attended the official press conference for the "100 Flavors – Michelin-Starred Chef" Culinary Week at La Vela Saigon Hotel. This prestigious event gathered 13 super-chefs who collectively hold a remarkable 27 Michelin stars, representing leading icons of the global culinary scene.

At the press conference, STHC students and instructors had the opportunity to learn numerous professional kitchen secrets and meet the 13 international Michelin-starred chefs who performed culinary demonstrations. On the sidelines of the event, they also had chances to converse and gain invaluable experience from these Michelin chefs and the Executive Chef of La Vela Saigon Hotel, delving deeper into the intricacies of the culinary profession. This empowered them with greater confidence and solid skills to master their future professional kitchens. This experience not only broadened their professional horizons but also inspired them to continue pursuing their passion and elevating Vietnamese cuisine.

The press conference also saw the participation of numerous culinary organizations, international experts, and prominent Vietnamese chefs, creating a professional and enriching networking environment for the students.

This special culinary week will take place in Ho Chi Minh City and Hue in late November, featuring two elite dinner nights: one celebrating the vibrant pulse of Saigon life and another immersing in the ancient charm of Hue. These are not just supreme gastronomic feasts but also a statement of the aspiration to establish Vietnam as a new destination for high-end Asian cuisine.
